March 2018
This month the topic is “People who help us”. The children will be learning about different professionals whose role it is to help and look after us.
Throughout the month we will be inviting various professionals such as the local police and firefighters to the nursery. This will give the children a firsthand, real life experience and bring the topic to life. The children will have the opportunity to explore the police cars, watch the trained police dogs sniff out hidden items and learn all about the special equipment used by the firemen.
The topic will be split into weekly sub
topics:
Week 1 – Police
Week 2 – Firemen
Week 3 – Dentist
Week 4 – spring break (25th March – 5th April)
