This month’s topic is “People who help us”. This topic encourages children to make connections between people and places. We will be exploring every member of our local community from friends to firefighters. Throughout the month we will be inviting some of these professionals into the nursery and bringing the topic to life for the children.

Using spare materials from around your home your child can assemble their own Doctors kit which they can use as a prop during imaginary role play.

∙Mother’s Day celebration Tuesday 21st March 10.30a.m – 12.00p.m

∙We have a few places remaining for our gymnastics class, which is held on a Sunday morning and led by a fully qualified professional instructor. If you wish your child to join please call into reception for a registration form.

∙Spring camp starts March 26th – April 6th. If you would like your child to join the fun, registration forms are available now from reception

What’s been happening………

Paediatric First Aid training for parents and care givers was held at nursery.

Children are naturally very inquisitive and prone to accidents, here at Monroe’s we believe at least one adult in every family should have the knowledge and confidence to administer First Aid procedures in the case of an emergency.
