October2017.

This month our topic is Animals. We will be taking our Turtle class to Dubai Aquarium to see all the amazing sea life they have and to bring their learning to life. The program is designed for young children; it is based on the early childhood teaching concepts such as colour and pattern, sequencing and language development. The specially trained Educators offer students many activities such as songs, story books, treasures hunting and much more.

Seahorse class will be going to The Green Planet, to explore all the animals and birds that live in the rainforest. The specially designed program is aligned with the learning objectives of the nursery curriculum and endorsed by the Ministry of Education.

The children will be introduced to a variety of scientific and environmental topics related to the ecosystem of a tropical forest.

The learning is delivered interactively in the engaging environment of a tropical forest with over 3,000 species (plants and animals).

What’s been happening……

International World Peace Day.

The International Day of Peace (“Peace Day”) is observed around the world each year in September. Established in 1981 by United Nations, the General Assembly has declared this as a day devoted to commemorating and strengthening the ideals of peace both within

and among all nations and peoples.”

Our children and staff, all dressed in white as a symbol of Peace performed some beautiful songs promoting Peace.

After which we released 50 white balloons as a symbol of Peace for the world.

Parents wrote their messages for Peace on our display board.

International Day.

As part of our monthly topic “All about me” we celebrated an International Day at the Nursery on Thursday 28th September.

The children paraded in their National costumes or the colours of their national flag then performed a song of unity to their parents.

After which there was a shared picnic lunch, to which all parents brought a traditional dish from their country.

We all had the opportunity to try traditional dishes from over 30 countries.

A big “Thank you” to all our parents for sharing this wonderful International morning with us.
