Dear Parents,
Welcome back, we hope you all had an enjoyable summer and are ready for
another exciting year at Monroe’s.
We will be starting the year with the topic “All about Me”. Our staff have been
busy planning new and exciting activities for the children. This is a great way for
the children to get to know each other and to learn about different emotions.
The topic will be split into
weekly sub topics:
Week 1/2 – Me and my family
Week 3 – When I grow up
Week 4 – Where I come from.

Using bits and pieces from
around the home you can support your
child to make a collage picture of
themselves or a family member.
For the older children you
can make pasta faces sand discuss
emotions.

What’s been happening……..
There have been some very exciting developments over the summer, we have
enhanced the children’s soft play area with a large assortments of balancing
beams and various climbing blocks.
We have also introduced a whole new area for the children with our very own
Children’s Gym. Regardless of the weather our children can now enjoy physical
activities all year round in a cool and comfortable environment.
