November 2017.

The ability to identify colours is considered a marker and milestone in a child’s cognitive process. Recognizing colours and identifying colour names is an important part of your child’s development. Early identification of colours helps to create the cognitive link between visual clues and words. Children are naturally attracted to bright colours. During the early years, children have a natural affinity to understand their world around them. Surrounded by a world of colour it is easy to use daily opportunities to discuss colour.
