Trip to Sustainable city.

 

As part of our gardening program we took the children to Sustainable city. Through this educational trip the children gained first-hand experience of planting on a large scale and how the plants help our environment. They also learnt about recyclable materials, how things can be changed into something new, the importance of recycling and how they can help look after the planet. They played in the playground on all the equipment which had been made from recycled materials.

The children were very excited when they were given the opportunity to feed the animals as they learnt about the role of animals in our eco system.
